The conference was held at Nanchang Greenland International Expo Center, with an exhibition area covering 30,000 square meters, and 216 domestic and foreign heavyweight companies were invited to participate, involving four major categories including;

  • Hardware
  • Software
  • Services
  • Applications.

As part of the conference program attendees in the industry selected the “Top 50 VR Companies in China in 2021”, and DPVR was once again successfully selected for the third year in a row.

DPVR considered one of China’s ‘Top 50 VR Companies’ in the past three years

Being selected as one of the “Top 50 VR Companies in China” is excellent affirmation and recognition for VR companies in the industry. DPVR has been selected three times and what is more important to our brand is what it stands for.

Decisions are made based on;

What role does a company play in the entire VR industry.

What value does it contribute to the popularisation and application of VR in China?

Since its establishment, DPVR has never stopped innovating. So far, a number of VR devices have been released, including PCVR series E, standalone VR series P and based on industry data from sources like Counterpoint, DPVR has maintained a top four position in global VR headset shipment share since 2020, and jumped to the top three in the first quarter of 2021.

Accelerating global market expansion with customisation options

At this year’s World VR Industry Conference, DPVR showcased its latest standalone wireless VR headset P1 Ultra 4K. It integrates DPVR’s core technologies that DPVR has explored in the VR industry for many years. P1 Ultra 4K is equipped with;

  • Qualcomm’s 10nm process processor Snapdragon 845
  • CPU architecture that is Kryo385 eight-core
  • GPU architecture that is Adreno630.

Compared with other processors this is an increased of 300% and the power consumption is reduced by 30%. The performance is not as strong as 5nm chips commonly used in mobile terminals, but, our solution finds a balance that can address  business application with the right mix of performance, power consumption, and cost.

As for the screen the P1 Ultra 4K is equipped with a 3840 x 2160 4K anti-stun flash screen, using RGB full-pixel arrangement technology, and the display effectively reaches 4K level, which greatly enhances the picture quality and clarity.

VR hardware modular design

In addition to the above basic core configuration, DPVR P1 Ultra 4K adopts a modular design, which can be customized according to each client’s’ needs. Among them, the camera sensor module placed on the front of the all-in-one machine has a field of view angle of 78 degrees, which can be used for gesture recognition, allowing users to perform human-computer interaction without relying on third-party accessories. Especially for users in the education industry, it enables students to easily and safely complete various chemical experiments and other teaching operations on the all-in-one VR headset.

The top of P1 Ultra 4K also supports a brain-computer interface module, and a heart rate interface module can be set inside, which means that it can complete various detections based on human data. For example, for the medical industry, it can detect brain internal activities. Data such as heart rate and mental health helps doctors complete a series of health data collection and improve work efficiency.

In addition, it can also choose to be equipped with an eye tracking module, the sensor supports 90Hz binocular tracking, which can bring gaze point rendering, eye control interaction and other functions. In training, remote collaboration, offline entertainment and other scenarios, you can free your hands through eye interaction to achieve a new VR experience.

There is also an alternative iris recognition module is also one of the highlights of this VR product. The iris function can be added to the P1 Ultra 4K. Iris recognition can not only recognize the most secure user ID biometric authentication, unlocking VR headset, but also realize the payment function in the VR shopping scene. This is an extremely important core technology module for payment and user security authentication.

Apart from above, DPVR can also provide customized modules such as facial expression recognition, direct power supply modules, and battery modules. To a certain extent, this design realizing reducing costs and increasing efficiency and rational use of resources for users.

Customised VR user interface software

Customization of hardware and software is the core advantage of P1Ultra 4K. At the same time, through a series of innovative application tools, it can reduce the cost of the solution by about 70% for customers.. This extends to the software where we can customise the user interface based on different industry needs, DPVR provides a customized user interface (UI) to help companies control their visual presentation on a device

Shared VR group training & content solutions

Starlink is a brand-new technical solution launched by DPVR in May of this year. This solution uses wireless LAN to transfer the presenter’s PCVR content to multiple all-in-one headsets in high-definition. It can be applied to the growing market for VR education and vocational training.

Group training solution is a special customized tool launched by DPVR based on the VR education industry. Teachers can realize centralized monitoring and control of multiple VR all-in-one headsets through PC or tablet, helping teachers to better synchronize content and understand students’ learning condition.
